Boldly Chic Events believes in beautiful details and creative elements for every special occasion. We are passionate about creating gorgeous moments and exciting memories for our clients. We specialize in coordinating and designing event aspects that combine modern elegance and tradition.

Our team works hard to listen and learn about each client’s story and vision. From there, we help design, manage and execute exactly what they want – and more. We keep every detail in mind and always remember the true meaning behind each event. Our Indianapolis-based wedding and event planning firm has built our reputation on this level of attentive service.

What are all the types of events you plan? (i.e. weddings, corporate events, etc.)
Boldly Chic Events plans different events for a variety of clients. From weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, from corporate conferences and product launch parties, we really are able to provide services to accommodate all event types.
 
What types of events do you enjoy doing the most and why?
Our favorite events to plan and design are those with the most room for creativity. We enjoy using our talents to make it unforgettable!
 
How many events have you planned in your career, and of these, how many have been held in the Indianapolis area?
With our nearly five years of experience, we have planned and executed hundreds of events. We are back in Indy, after two years in NYC, so our clientele is continuously building here in the Mid-west with 2011 filling up quickly!
 
Describe the most memorable event that you have ever been a part of planning.
The most memorable are always those events held in order to give back in some regard. Non-profit organizations host some of the most special and heartfelt affairs. One that I will never forget was held in Connecticut for an organization called Global Partnership for Afghanistan. The details of the evening were, of course, beautiful, but the messages spoken were even more meaningful.
 
What is the best compliment that you have ever received about your services from a client/guest?
We received a compliment from a client who had just hosted an 80th birthday party for her husband. She told us the next day that it wouldn’t have been the same without us and, most importantly, that we were really great at what we do. That comment always feels wonderful.
 
Which are your top three favorite venues in town, and most ideal for an outdoor event or ceremony?
It is truly hard to pick a favorite – because Indy really has some amazing locations for special events. And, each venue has it’s own personality and suits different styles and preferences. But, I do love the Indianapolis Historical Society for its beauty and proximity to the downtown area and canal. On the other hand, I adore the new Mill Top on the northside for the urban, rustic details it carries. I can’t choose just one.
 
For outdoors, I love the Indianapolis Art Center and the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA). They both have great “Plan B” options, too. That is always my number one concern when it comes to planning an outdoor soiree.
 
What are the most common things that clients often forget to consider when selecting venues and vendors?
To check reviews! I always recommend it when a client chooses a vendor that I haven’t worked with before. Other items that are sometimes skipped over are parking accommodations and allotted set up time prior to the event. But, that is what we are here for – so no question goes unasked!
 
What would you say differentiates you from other planners in the industry?
We bring a certain energy and design aesthetic that I think makes us unique. Our attentive energy insures that we understand exactly who our client is and what they are visualizing. And, our time on the east coast brings new ideas that maybe Indy has not seen before.
 
What is your argument when people say that they can’t afford a planner?
I let them know that we specialize in helping our clients stay on track with the budget they have set. And, I explain to them that because of the relationships we have with other vendors in the area, I will be able to help them locate the right one for their money and desires. Not only that, but I remind them that they are paying for the intangible too. The eliminated stress is priceless in my opinion.
